Beginners Tips For Making Money Online

I am one of those people that would sit down at the computer determined to somehow make money online with little or no investment. I scoured the internet trying to find different things that might work and always taking someone else advice, or trying to do something that someone else had already done. But I decided that I was going to take things into my own hands, ignore all of the hype about quitting my day job and firing my boss, and start at the bottom to find MY OWN ways to make money. Granted some of the programs that I had seen advertised are the very same ones that I am utilizing, but many of them I have tested and found to work for me.

For people that are starting out and trying to make some extra cash online here are some tips:

1. Don't join any and every program that you come across

Starting out just about every lead and landing page enticed me. All of the promises seemed good and I was convinced that this or that program would be different. But what I ended up with were memberships to programs that I rarely every used and a lot of junk mail in my inbox. I will inject the old adage K.I.S.S. (Keep It Simple Stupid). The best thing that you can do is to scout some programs that look good and interest you and then do your research to find out others' experiences with it. The most annoying thing is to shell out your hard earned money just to find 100 reviews that say the program was crap.

2. Put on your tough skin

I know that when it comes to using your own money your sensitivity is immediately raised, especially for me who was a student and was spending money that I didn't necessarily have. But I think its essential to keep your wits about you. If you aren't making your investment back as quickly as you like or if perhaps you are spending more money than you anticipated, take a deep breath and re-evaluate. If this is a program that you want to stick with and you see the potential decide if its worth spending more money on. If not, move on.

3. Persistence is key

Despite what the flashing pages and raving reviews say, it is not as easy as signing up or paying a premium or adding your name to a list that will make you an income on the internet. Don't get me wrong there are some people that put the petal to the metal and make a lot of money in a short period of time, but realize that hard work and persistence is the only way that anything you begin to do online will grow and expand. Yeah, sorry, no short-cuts, even online. Work hard and stick with it and when you begin to see results, you'll feel so very fulfilled.

4. TRAFFIC!!

Most every business online requires that you drive traffic and visitors to your page. Learning SEO and various other marketing strategies takes years to learn and master, but there are some more simple things (for us pedestrian). Social bookmarking is a great way to get people to your site. The great thing about this traffic is that you can interact with people in the community who visit your page and get feedback on ways to make your site better. Traffic Exchanges ( visiting web pages in exchange for visits to your own) are also useful services for getting traffic to your site. To expand your horizons you can write articles for other blogs or magazines that have more exposer and request link-backs to your page. Be sure that anything your write should be content-rich and actually relevant.

These are the essential things to keep in mind when deciding to make money online. If someone had told me this when I was beginning 2 years ago I would be more ahead of the game. I hope they guide you to making money on the internet without all of the avoidable speed bumps. For some of the programs that I use to make some extra money online feel free to visit:
